Dr. Reza Ghorbani has been
practicing Interventional Pain
Management since 1996. Dr.
Ghorbani is a Diplomate of the
American Board of Anesthesiology
with a subspecialty
certification in Pain Medicine.
Dr. Ghorbani is also a Fellow
of Interventional Pain Practice
(FIPP), the only certifying
agency which tests the ability
to perform interventional pain
procedures.
Dr. Ghorbani graduated with
honors from Tufts University
and then attended Tufts
University School of Medicine.
He completed a Surgical
Internship at St. Elizabeth's
Medical Center and a
residency in Anesthesiology at
Harvard University's Brigham
and Women's Hospital. He
then completed a Fellowship
in Pain Management, also at
Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Since 1997 Dr. Ghorbani was in
private practice providing Pain
Management |
services
in Boston, Massachusetts. He had been
affilliated with several prestigious
hospitals such as New England Baptist
Hospital, (NEBH is the official hospital
of the legendary Boston Celtics, and has
provided services to U.S. Olympic teams,
elite athletic associations and
individual elite athletes) and Faulkner
Hospital, a Harvard Medical School
teaching hospital.
In
addition, Dr. Ghorbani had been an
Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at
Boston University School of Medicine
and Director of the Interventional
Pain Management Program where he was
actively involved in training residents
and medical students.
Dr.
Ghorbani provides cutting edge
technology in the treatment of Spine
Pain. His area of expertise is in
minimally invasive therapies for the
treatment of Pain of Spine Origin – Neck
and Back Pain. For precise localization
and added safety measures, his
procedures are performed under X-ray
guidance. Patients also receive
sedation, if necessary. Procedures

Dr.
Ghorbani is an avid tennis player and
enjoys traveling as well as
photography. He is married with two
young sons.
