Dr. Rogers is a native of Southern California. He graduated with honors from Harvard University in 1985, and then attended dental school at UCLA. Dr. Rogers completed a General Practice Residency at the Sepulveda Veteran's Hospital in 1991. His residency training included plastic surgery, oral surgery, and emergency medicine. Dr. Rogers has been in private practice in Northern Virginia since then.
His interest in dentistry
developed at an early age.
Due to childhood illnesses,
his permanent teeth never
developed the hard enamel
covering. As a result, he
had many of his primary
teeth extracted to allow the
weak and discolored
permanent teeth to erupt. By
the age of 12, he had a
cavity on nearly every
tooth, and was often teased
by other kids about the
brown color of his teeth.
